Artist Statement
b. Lowell, Mass. 1954
Atomic Elroy’s background in experimental theatre and television production informs his work as a conceptual art humorist and time based media artist, specializing in video, internet presence, installation, and performance. His work has appeared in numerous museums and galleries.

Process
Atomic Elroy’s practice is grounded in creative deconstruction. He works by stripping away the unnecessary and the obstructive, clearing space for what remains vital. This intensity can unsettle, particularly where comfort depends on inertia. His work pursues complexity without dilution, locating moments of beauty and clarity within tension, contradiction, and depth.
